A Night Beat Classic: Stars and Stripes Forever - A Night Beat Fourth

If this were a normal Friday I would be doing a Classic Replay of a Flashback Friday, but since this is our 238th Independence Day, I thought I would give honor where honor is due and do a previous replay from the Fourth of July. Enjoy.

Happy Independence Day everyone. The United States is a spry 238 years old today. We may be the crazy, impetuous teenager among the nations of the world, but without us on the scene, God only knows how oppressive life on this planet may be.

The Fourth of July was always to be celebrated with fireworks, food, and parades. Even our Founders knew that. In that tradition, and since I can't light off fireworks at Night Beat HQ, I give you a MVM style 4th.

We begin with the Boston Pops and the 1812 Overture.
We Continue with the Marine Corps Band and Stars and Stripes Forever We Throw in a Fireworks display.

And conclude with another version of stars and stripes forever, this one more suitable to the refined sensibilities of Night Beat Readers. Have a Happy 4th of July. Happy Birthday America.
