The Seven Soundtrack: The 2016 Platinum Vinyl Awards 3rd Quarter - Modern Worship

And the Winner is.... Modern Worship. Really, did you expect anything else? While I try to keep my snark to a minimum level it does get a little old. Could we have rock win the genre one of these days? Let's get to the big winner.

Modern Worship

Night Beat Rewind: January 2016

January comes in Like a Lion.... No, that's March. Needless to say there has been no post Christmas sluggishness. January releases have come upon us with the force of a New England Blizzard. But that's not much of an excuse for my delay. Though I have been doing my best to keep #PlatVnyl6 from falling behind schedule too much. And since I no longer have to worry about links, reserving that for the quarterly wraps, or individual blog posts, I should have done this sooner. No time like the present, so let us get to it.

The Singles Scene

• Coppe Cantrell - Dance In The Dark 4.50 Emeralds
• Fearless BND - Shake The Skies 4.50 Emeralds

Miss The Mark

• Marcus Bishop and Forget The Sea - Marcus Bishop and Forget The Sea 3.50 Emeralds

That was the only Miss the mark for the month, so I guess things are getting better in the Christian Music Industry. We move on to the Perfect, or

Pure Platinum Perfection

Only two Pure Platinum albums to start off the year gives you hope that the candy store may be only part time this year. We go to the vast middle.
