Night Beat Rewind: Album Edition - December 2019

The final Album Edition Rewind of 2019 begins now. Like I said in the Single Scene Post, we are a little light this month. Bands take the holiday's off except for Christmas Music. Things will heat up again soon. They always do.

The last month of Christmas Releases is the lightest. I guess if you haven't found a favorite already, you are ahead of the game for next year. In keeping with the gift giving season, as we move on to the judged music, there was only one album which missed the mark. That too will change as the year goes on.

This artist usually gets categorized as Rap/Urban, but I have yet to hear anything but talking and we don't do "spoken word" here. We do music. Plus, he spends all his time this time talking about legal documents, child support, and the like. Not the venue for this.

Four....Sorry. Four perfect albums is pretty good for December. A little surprising is the re-release by The Lead. The quality is a little thin (it was CCM in the 80's remember) and so I am giving it a perfect 5 based on the lyrical content mostly. Now to the stuff in the middle.
