Wolves Unleashed: The 2019 Platinum Vinyl Awards 4th Qtr - Live Album

Live Recorded Album had a very good showing this time with 18 entries, but it was still only good for second place. I think things were up because we managed to track down all the live Modern Worship Albums (not all of them are) (Oops, there goes the reveal of the winner).

Live Recorded Album

• Pat Barrett - Canvas and Clay (Live)
• Catch The Fire Music - Revival 25 EP (Live)
• David's Tent - Raise Every Voice: David's Tent Live
• E58 Worship - Make Way
• Travis Greene - Setlist, Volume 1
• JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise - Miracle Worker
• Housefires - Housefires V
• Leeland - Better Word (Live)
• David Leonard - The Wait: Silence The Noise
• Life Church Worship - God So Good
• Matt Maher - Alive and Breathing, Volume 1
• William McDowell - The Cry: A Live Worship Experience from Chattanooga
• New Wine Worship - This Is Love
• Planetshakers - Rain, Part 3 EP
• Planetshakers - Rain
• Red Rocks Worship - Spark (Live)
• Red Rocks Worship - Spark (Be Still) EP
• Red Rocks Worship - Spark (You Will Be My Song) EP

That's quite a list. It was made as things were released and some of the Modern Worship EP's get discontinued by Amazon once the "Full Album" gets released. That's a shame as they can stand on their own. Modern Worship (Live and Studio) is the final winner of the year and they are next. Until then, I am Awaiting Your Reply.

Polar Vortex Polka Redux: The 2015 2nd Quarter - Adult Contemporary Dance

We continue our progression through the 2015 2nd Quarter eligible releases. This is the second of our multiple genre nominations. In our first post we announced Children's Music, Jazz, Pop and the Remix. For this post there are but two genres. They are Adult Contemporary and Dance-Synthpop. From here on in we go with single genre posts. We begin again.

Dance/Synthpop

• Hillsong Young and Free - This Is Living
• Inspire Music - Inspire
• Various - WoW Hits Party Mix

Adult Contemporary/Inspirational

• Among The Thirsty - Who You Say I Am
• Jared Anderson - Where I Am Right Now
• Davis The Band - Only Your Love
• Matt Maher - Saints and Sinners

Yes there is a double dipper. WoW Hits party mix is a tossup between Dance and Remix. There is a bit of both. So they are listed in both. Next up is Alternative. Until then, I am Awaiting Your Reply

Spring Songs: The 2013 Third Quarter - Adult Contemporary

Adult Contemporary and its sibling, Inspirational Music, have been a well represented genre since it's introduction in the Second Year. This quarter was no different, as ten albums made the cut. The usual suspects made the mix, plus a surprising entrance by a veteran of the scene, though not usually in this category.

Adult Contemporary/Inspirational

• All Things New - All Things New
• Building 429 - We Won't Be Shaken
• Citizen Way - Citizen Way
• Finding Favour - Finding Favour
• Amy Grant - How Mercy Looks From Here
• Nathan Jess - Love Stands Forever
• Matt Maher - All The People Said Amen
• Shane and Shane - Bring Your Nothing
• Tim Timmons - Cast My Cares
• Josh Wilson - Carry Me

Those of you who have been with me from the start may be surprised to see an entry from Amy Grant. Yes, I have supposed that the CCM industry lazily picks anything from "Our Amy" as they say, as an award winner. That being said, this entry brings me back to the Father's eyes glory days. She even sounds like the Amy of the 80's at some points.

That does it for AC. Don't forget to enter the giveaway while you're here. Until next time, I am Awaiting Your Reply.
