We have come to the final four. That's good. A lot of good entries here. We will have a tough time judging this one. And that is a good thing, folks. If it's easy to pick the winner, why bother having a contest?
The least of the four, at least entry wise, is rock, which has eleven entries this quarter. A mix of old artists and new, which is always good to see. Let's get to it.
Rock Music
+Rekoncyle is a band out of New Brunswick. Yeah, I know, don't laugh. I though it was crazy when a Heavy Metal band came out of Kentucky and called itself Bride. And Amy Munn gives the band a FFR edge, which not only is popular, but is better. Guys voices all sound the same these days. You get more variety with FFR bands. A Stryper album and a Michael Sweet Solo Project all in the same eligibility year. SWEET. (Sorry). There is no link for Jonah 33. Right now it is an iTunes exclusive, and I am an Amazon Affiliate. Welcome back to our regularly scheduled edition of Music Video Monday. We've been mixing things up here as new videos become available, so let's keep things moving. New to The Night Beat is +Fight The Fade. I've recently found out about this band, though they recently released their second album, entitled Second Horizon. It's a powerful band, and it reminds me a lot of Red. This is the lyric video for Rise.
Another new to The Night Beat band is +Relentless Flood. They released The Time is Now back on May 27, but things fall through the cracks once in a while. They are also on their Sophomore release. Even so, I heard it and wow. Even though fan ratings are notoriously over hyped, I have to agree with the 5 Emeralds that got handed out like candy. Their first music video ever knocks it out of the park as well. This is Come Home.
Finally, we continue in the rock/metal mode. +Memphis May Fire came out with Unconditional back in March, and this is the music video for No Ordinary Love. I love the clean vocals on this band.
