Welcome back to Music Video Monday, where we play the best Music Videos out There. We're going to do something a little different this time. We're getting a little animated. This video from Yancy popped up in my Youtube feed the other day, and let me say, it is a snappy little video about Joseph and his Coat of Many Colors.
The difference continues with a little bit of a delayed video. Christmas is over, but I just discovered this video from the now Synthpop band We Are Leo. It is a definitely Animated Dancing In A Snow Globe. Hey, here in the Northeast it may snow as late as May.
Finally, we take an entirely different path. This is just discovered. Project Aegis is a supergroup started by Matt Smith of Theocracy. In this case the proceeds from the song go 100% to Legacy Music, which provides music lessons and instruments to Children and Teens from Difficult Backrounds. Listen, Headbang, Buy.

Music Video Monday: Cover Me
We are going to try something a bit different at the Night Beat. Usually for Music Video Monday we play the best original music videos by artists. We have had an abundance of good cover songs recently, and some of them have made videos. We want to recognize them just like we do the "original" videos. We begin with Caitie Hurst, a rising star in the Christian Music Industry. This is her cover of Hillsong United's So Will I.
Next up we go to "my band" as I like to Call Them. The Choir has been covering a bunch of mainstream music lately, and in a lot of cases making your forget the original. They are that good at making it their own. This time they redo One Republic's 2013 hit Counting Stars.
Finally we go to my favorite lady, Amy Lee and Evanescence. They recently did a remix of Fleetwood Mac's The Chain. I gave the original a listen, as I do with all covers, and I hated it. Way to country for my taste. Amy is in her Goth glory in this one for this version made for the Video Game Gear 5. Defiant Metal at its finest.

Music Video Monday: Accepting All Condiments
Welcome Back to Music Video Monday. Things have been a bit erratic with MVM due to holidays, snow days, and even occasional winter blahs. So we have decided to make this an extra special version, and even lighten things up a bit. We begins with Colton Dixon, who dropped his new single Miracles last Friday. This is the Music Video for it.
Going a bit lighter, we move to Transform (aka Transform DJ's). With Rapper Sean Be, this is Jericho. Let's get the party started.
What The World needs now is more dancing condiments. Dream Records EDM artist Joel Vaughn has recognized this need and decided to fill it. I know, you didn't realize you needed it. But you didn't know you needed an iPhone either until Steve Jobs created one. I guarantee that everyone in this video had a blast. Here is Something New.
Finally, a bonus video. Actually this is a full concert video from one of my favorite musicians. Klayton is a talented Electronic Musician who records as Celldweller, Scandroid, and Circle of Dust, and has previously released albums as Argyle Park and Brainchild. He also runs his own record label. The music video was just released, although the concert is from 2010/11. Enjoy the magic of Celldweller.

Music Video Monday: The Parade Continues
The Christmas Parade Continues here on Music Video Monday. We are taking a break from our regularly scheduled Videos to go all Christmas Music. And I hope to keep it up until twelfth night. We begin with a new Christmas Video by Lindsey Stirling entitled We Three Gentlemen, which appears to be a medley of We Three Kings, Carol of The Bells, and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Love the Middle East Arabian Nights feel to it. It is highly appropriate.
We are going to stay with Strings. The Annie Moses Band is a Night Beat Favorite, and this is their take on Carol of The Bells. They May not move as much as Lindsey, but there are more of them on stage.
Finally, we stay with the string motif, but we mix in some lovely electronics as well. Christmas isn't Christmas if you don't have Mannheim Steamroller. This is Joy To The World.

Music Video Monday: The Christmas Parade Begins
Welcome to the Annual Christmas Parade of Music Video Monday. We switch on the Ho-Ho-Ho's at Night Beat HQ once Thanksgiving Day is over. I just decided to do this when I noticed a new Christmas Video on my timeline. We begin the Parade with Caitie Hurst "When Christmas Comes Around"

Music Video Monday: Stirling Silver Edition
Welcome to an all new edition of Music Video Monday. We hunt out all the best Music Videos and share them with you. This week is no exception.
We Begin our musical journey with Wolves at The Gate. This is the video for A Voice In The Violence, which is on the recently released album Elcipse.
We Continue our journey with Switchfoot. It seems the Beamers have taken to criticizing the band lately, and they have decided to turn the tables. Good for them. This is Voices, which they did with the extremely beautiful and talented Rock Violinist Lindsey Stirling, who it appears also has to deal with a lot of Beamers.
And we finish our journey with a video by Lindsey Stirling herself. She has recently released an album entitled Artemis, and that brings us full circle this Music Video Monday. How is that. Well, wolves howl at the Full Moon, and Artemis was the Greek Goddess of The Moon among other things. Actually, if Artemis were around today she would be a Conservative Republican. Huntress, Wild Nature (not the Protected fake Environmentalism), Chaste, Guardian of Young Girls and Protectress of Women in Childbirth. The Goddess Liberals would Love To Hate. This is Underground.

Music Video Monday: Your Therapy Awaits
Welcome Back. It's been a while since we had a Music Video Monday (It has been over a month). We will give you a little therapy to help with your withdrawal symptoms. We Begin with Sarah Reeves. She has also had to deal with the loss of Music Video Mondays and isn't ashamed to confess that it made her Anxious.
The Loss also affected Ariel Bloomer of Icon For Hire, though she didn't seem to take things as well as Sarah. I guess she's more into Gestalt Therapy. She started wrecking the therapists office. Not cool. Sometimes you need to let it all hang out so you don't feel Hollow.
I think that the best Therapy is rooted in Identity. And nowhere is identity more important than in Christianity. Religion (Christendumb) tells us "We Are Sinners Saved By Grace". You either are a Sinner or You Have Been Saved By Grace. You cannot be both or Jesus Death meant absolutely nothing. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord you aren't a Sinner, You are a Saint. I'll let Planetboom explain it.

Music Video Monday: It Feels Good
Welcome back to Music Video Monday. We seem to be somewhat erratic in our schedule lately. Let's see if we can get more studious now that school is in session again.
Those of you who have been with me for a while know that I pretty much despise Country Music. There are some exceptions, and that is notably Bluegrass. One genre that is greatly improved by Bluegrass is rap. When Bluegrass Meets Rap you get Whosoever South, who will release their third album in October. They're from Georgia.
Children's Music is a tough genre. Usually while the Kids are kept amused, the parents are driven crazy. The trick is to do the former while avoiding the latter. The last time it was done to perfection was on Groovy (2011) by Denver and The Mile High Orchestra. Eight years later we have done it again, with the somewhat unorthodox Modern Worship band from Northern Ireland of all places, hereby dubbed Rend Collective Kids. From their recently released album Sparkle Pop Rampage, this is Feels Good (it's an Upbeat Song).
We're mixing things up here this week Wilder Woods is the eclectic side project of Needtobreathe's Bear Rinehart. It is classically sounding music not made much anymore. It grows on you. This is Supply and Demand.

Staying in Australia we move from Melbourne to Sydney. Hillsong Church is the father of Modern Worship, The Second Generation. We continue on slow worship with King of Kings.
And finally, we go back to Melbourne, (Tired Yet), and go to the youth group. Planetboom is the name. This is Praise on Praise.

Music Video Monday: Unstoppable
Welcome Back to an all new edition of Music Video Monday. Last Week Was Convention Week, so there was no way we were getting in a post last week. We are back, however. And we have a first this week. This is the first edition of Music Video Monday to be branded with a Content Advisory. (Not for that, however. Get your mind out of the gutter).
Let's get this out of the way. Not a parental advisory, but let's call this a disturbing content advisory. Mike Mains and The Branches has decided to produce a music video that pushes the boundaries of good Christian Decency. I mean, adults in spandex doing exercise. My eyes, My Eyes. Live Forever, after seeing this? You have been warned. You can't unsee this.
Now that that's behind us, we can get back to normality. You know, when I saw that first video I thought "Run, Forrest, Run". You know who else thought that? Scott Stapp. The former Creed frontman just released a new solo album entitled The Space Between The Shadows. This is the Purpose For Pain.
We quiet it down just a bit for our final video. JJ Heller has always been a favorite of The Night Beat. This is the video for The Best Thing. It includes footage from the movie Bethany Hamilton: Unstoppable. See, there is always a purpose for the titles.

Music Video Monday: Legendary
Welcome back to an all new edition of Music Video Monday. Looks like we are going for three weeks in a row. That's got to be some kind of record these days, and that is not a pun.
We begin our musical tour with We Are Messengers. I go hot and cold with this band (Case in Point Maybe its okay. It really seems to make excuses for things that are wrong with your life. Just my opinion). I am going hot with their latest single. This is the lyric video for Power.
Next up, it's time to wake up Oh, Sleeper. They just released a new album entitled Bloodied/Unbowed, which received a perfect 5 Emerald rating. This is the music video for fissure.
Finally we move on to Skillet. They will be releasing Victorious on AUGUST 2, that's only 11 days away. From the songs released so far this is going to be an awesome album. This is the music video for Legendary.

Music Video Monday: I Didn't Come Here To Die
Welcome Back to Music Video Monday, where we play the best Music Videos out on the web. It looks like we will get on to a weekly schedule for once. Unlike last week, however, we have videos from different artists and genres.
We begin with a video of pure beauty. Hannah Kerr is taking the Pop world by storm. This is the David Hamilton arrangement for Split The Sea.

A blend of country, metal and industrial. It sounds like a discordant mess, but it's actually the harmony that is White Collar Sideshow. This is I didn't come here to die.

Music Video Monday: Peace Signs
Welcome to an all new edition of Music Video Monday. We share the best videos in Christian Contemporary Music and the Fringe here. And we seem to be in a every other week schedule. Hopefully we will get on an every week session soon.
It is the Summer, and it will be a Rocket Summer. The band will be releasing a new album entitled Sweet Shivers on August 2, and he has been dribbling out the singles, and Music Videos. So, in the spirit of laziness, we shall do an all Rocket Summer edition.
We begin with the Music Video for Shatter Us, which came out a month ago, and was the first song released.
The Second Song, which Missed My attention (I Know, Shocking), is Morning Light.
And the final song for the week is Peace Signs. In the every other week pattern we seem to be in I caught the release for this one.

Music Video Monday: I'll Never Be Ready
We are back with an all new edition of Music Video Monday. It's been quite a while since our last post, and it was due somewhat to a lack of videos, but we are back with a vengeance.
We start things going hunting. With Demon Hunter. From their album Peace, part of their War and Peace Release, this is More Than Bones.
From The Arena to the Dance Floor. LZ7 is the successor to the Dance/Hip Hop Legend WWMT (aka World Wide Message Tribe or simply The Tribe). Lindz West formed the band shortly after the Tribe Broke up, and they have proven a worthy heir. These are Better Days released this year and I Give My All is by far my favorite song. And the crashing nature video is pretty good too.
Finally it is time to get out your hankies once again. When Veridia came out with The Beast You Feed, I gave it a 5 Emerald rating for various reasons. The Biggest one was I'll Never Be Ready, a touching tribute to her late father, which had Deena accompanied by Amy Lee of Evanescence. It was a song worthy of Angels. Now we add a video done in the form of a home video of a dance between father and daughter. I won't spoil it further.
I told you to get your hankies before watching, didn't I? I wouldn't let you get ripped apart emotionally without warning you first.

Music Video Monday: Not Dead Yet
Welcome to an all new edition of Music Video Monday, on this next to the last Monday of Summer, at least unofficially. We begin with our monthly release by For King and Country. Can we get an Amen.
Next up we have a new entrant into the EDM Scene. DJ em-D is up with Spencer Kane. It's time to Turn The Light On.
Finally we have a video by Ledger (as in Jen Ledger, drummer for Skillet). This is Not Dead Yet. I think the girl has some definite anger management issues.

Music Video Monday: Twister Edition
Welcome Back to our regularly scheduled edition of Music Video Monday. The Night Beat is wherever I am. I am quite blessed to have a mobile office and I almost needed it. This weekend HQ town got hit with an EF1 Tornado on Saturday Morning. God was good, however, and except for 20 people or so displaced nothing but abandoned buildings. Of course the media has deemed it Horrific. Slow news days here in the Northeast. On to the videos.
First up we go with Modern Worship. Elevation Worship to be precise. This is Won't Stop Now.
Next up, we go hard with Earth Groans. From their new release Rahab, this is the music video for Avarice.
Finally we move onto new artist James Collington, recording simply as Collington. From the new EP In Between this is Here We Go.

Music Video Monday:

Next up we go to cover an escape, as in The Young Escape. They have been dancing around the edges of the big time lately and have released a new video featuring rapper nobidgyl. I don't know if that helps or hurts, but it is what it is. This is Love Me Like You.
Finally we go to Branan Murphy, who seems to be primed to rocket up the radio charts. This is My Life.
