You didn't think we would get through the season without without this Classic. Nat King Cole doing The Christmas Song. I'm surprised that he didn't write it. Mel Torme did in 1944 and Cole recorded it two years later. It goes to show it doesn't matter who did it first, it's who made it famous that counts. At least as far as music is concerned. Once a version is deemed "The Signature", who cares who the author was. So this is Cole's song, and rightly so.
